Etienne Huret

CEO Natixis in Portugal

Etienne Huret is graduated in Engineering from the Hautes Études Industrielles from Lille. With more than 30 years of banking experience, his career path has been marked by diversity in areas of expertise and in geographies, having worked in Portugal, Belgium, France, Romania and India. Between 1993 and 2008, Etienne worked as a consultant for companies such as Accenture and Unilog Management, leading large-scale technological transformation projects. In the following years, Etienne's career focused on the technological and operational leadership of the offshore and nearshore centers of Société Générale, developing services for the areas of Risk, Finance, Compliance and HR, notably leaving an innovative footprint in Machine Learning, Data Science and Process Automation projects. Since 2020, Etienne Huret is the CEO of Natixis in Portugal, a Centre of Expertise with the mission to transform traditional banking by developing solutions for Groupe BPCE. In 4 years under his leadership, the team has grown from 800 to 2500 employees from over 30 nationalities, developing and diversifying the services portfolio in the areas of Information Technology, Middle and Backoffice, Risk, Finance and Compliance. Etienne strives every day to promote an inclusive and innovative mindset, with special focus on diversity in leadership and in technology, LGBTQ+ community and people with disabilities.
