Marcel Bruognolo is the Regional Vice President of Hyatt’s Global Shared Services Centre for the EAME and ASPAC regions, overseeing two captive centres in partnership with a BPO provider that deliver most of the finance services to 220 hotels across 40 countries. He leads major transformation initiatives that strengthen compliance, enhance governance, and streamline the full suite of financial processes delivered through the Shared Services model. Over the years, a specialised team under his supervision has driven extensive automation enhancements that significantly increased FTE productivity, enabling scalable and efficient service delivery. With more than 20 years of executive finance experience, Marcel has led financial and operational teams across luxury hotels, large conference properties, and business hotels, managing multi-property clusters, supporting acquisitions, and guiding repositioning efforts during major renovations. His extensive hospitality background, including senior roles in Europe and the Middle East, provides a deep understanding of diverse hotel operating models and their financial needs. Marcel is recognized for scaling shared-services models rapidly, developing high-performing international teams, and partnering closely with owners and stakeholders to deliver consistent, high-quality financial operations.
