5 Things to Do While in Colombia
1. Museo del Oro
Approximately 8 kilometers from Grand Hyatt Bogotá. This iconic museum is home to the world’s largest collection of pre-Columbian gold artifacts, showcasing Colombia’s rich indigenous heritage. It’s beautifully curated and easy to explore in under two hours, making it a top-rated stop for visitors.
2. Monserrate
A must-see attraction in Bogotá, approximately 3 kilometers from the hotel. Monserrate offers panoramic views of the city from over 10,000 feet. You can reach the top via a funicular or cable car. Perfect for a morning or sunset visit.
3. Museo Botero & La Candelaria
Located just 4 kilometers from the hotel, Bogotá’s charming historic district, Museo Botero features a world-class art collection including works by Botero, Picasso, and Dalí. The surrounding La Candelaria neighborhood offers colorful colonial buildings, coffee shops, and photo-worthy streets.
4. Bogotá Botanical Garden

5. Plaza Bolívar & Catedral Primada
Just 8 kilometers from the hotel, this historic main square is surrounded by Bogotá’s most important buildings, including the grand cathedral and Capitol. It’s a great place to explore Colombian history and architecture on foot.
