Christoph Oehlschlaeger is the General Accounting (Record-to-Report) Global Process Owner at Eli Lilly. He is a certified accountant in Germany and successfully passed the Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Information System Auditor exams. After starting his career in various accounting and audit functions at Procter & Gamble he joined Eli Lilly. He was involved in multiple SAP implementations and worked as Lead Auditor in Corporate Audit Services. After that he took the lead for the Global Services implementation for General Accounting in EMEA and Latin America. This implementation involved the set-up of Shared Service Centers and cooperation with a BPO. At the completion of the implementation he took the global responsibility for the General Accounting with a focus on global standardization, continuous improvement and efficiency increase via automation.
