Regional Associate Director GBS and PMO Zimmer Biomet

Azlinda is currently the Regional Associate Director and PMO in Zimmer Biomet (ZB) and is the pioneer team to set up the GBS in APAC. With over 25 years of experience, including 15 years in GBS and Transformation projects, she brings with her years of experience from her leading role in previous GBS; GSK, WorleyParsons, and Shell. Her journey with ZB began in Q4 2021 and her role is to lead and manage the overall transition of multiple functions from sending locations across APAC into Global Business Services in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Main responsibilities include managing and overseeing all aspects of the transitions and also taking responsibility for process migrations, spanning multiple functions and countries across different timelines.

Azlinda Ab Kasim, the Regional Associate Director for Zimmer Biomet (ZB), gives us an inside glimpse of Zimmer Biomet’s newly launched GBS – the organisation’s third centre after Warsaw and Bogota. As a centre of excellence and a launchpad for enhanced innovation in the APAC region, ZB’s GBS focuses on multiple streams within Finance, and is looking to further scale up with other functions during the latter half of the year 2024. Hear from Azlinda as she and her team share on how they are focusing on process excellence to enable standardisation and transform processes to be more efficient.
