Ilkka Lagerström is a seasoned people & operations leader. He is currently having a combination role by leading both People Operations (HR SSC) organisation and also Talent Acquisition (CoE) globally at Konecranes – the global leader material handling solutions & services. People Operations (HR Shared Services) plays a strategic importance at Konecranes, and they have been on a transformation journey since 2020 – when they embarked on consolidating and building a global organisation to scale and align to the operating model and business needs. Ilkka has 20 years of experience in leadership, talent acquisition, HR / People Operations and business - and has been with Konecranes since 2019. Before joining Konecranes, he led operations and businesses in a TA/Recruitment/Outsourcing consultancy companies. With experience both on corporate and business/consultancy – gives good perspectives in continuing to building world-class People Operations/SSC with balanced approach of efficiency and people development & engagement.
