Head, Global Business Services Nokia

Kapil is the Head of Global Business Services team within Global Operations at Nokia, based in Gurgaon, India.

A Mechanical Engineer by qualification, Kapil has an extensive track record in the Automotive, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) & Telecom industries over the last three decades. Throughout his career, Kapil has held various regional and global leadership positions in Procurement, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management and led transnational teams. Always passionate about contributing to Nokia’s growth, he focuses on achieving e2e cost optimization and delivery capability improvement. He leads his teams to achieve these objectives through the deployment of disruptive delivery models and selecting the right partners for robust performance.

Kapil has a proven ability to successfully manage start-ups, drive transformational and operational efficiency programs, including organization development initiatives.

In his current role, Kapil leads an international team that is establishing the Global Business Services Unit for Global Operations, while continuing to manage the e2e Governance for Business Process Outsourcing Partners across Nokia.

A people oriented servant leader at the core, Kapil strongly believes in enabling and empowering his teams to achieve great results; walking the talk and encouraging them to continuously learn and improve.

Kapil holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi University, India (1988.) and an alumnus of the Indian Institute on Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), India (2001) in Manufacturing Strategy. Kapil is also a Lead Auditor for ISO9000.
