Dirk is a Director Finance and SAP Business Process Architect within the BPKC (Business Process Knowledge Center) Transformation team at Eli Lilly, where he focuses on finance transformation and innovation initiatives.
Previously, he served as Global Design Lead for the Record to Report workstream in Eli Lilly's global S/4HANA rollout, steering the company-wide conversion of finance processes and data over a three-year program. His broader background spans multiple SAP domains, including Source to Pay, where he led e-invoicing and RPA automation initiatives as well as the S2P implementation for Latin America. With over 29 years at Eli Lilly, Dirk has held diverse finance roles across Financial Planning, Manufacturing Finance, and several major system transformations. He brings a practitioner's perspective to the intersection of finance process architecture, data governance, and emerging AI applications in the finance function.
