Philip Tan is the Head of UOB Centre of Excellence and UOB Innovation Hub 2 in Malaysia. The centres deliver customer servicing, banking operations and technology & innovation capabilities collectively for UOB Group. Philip has 23+ years of general IT and operations management experience across strategy, planning, large program delivery and service operations across financial services and consumer products industry, including 16 years in the Shared Services/Global Business Services delivery environment. Philip is passionate about strategic capability development,, talent development and delivery excellence. Prior to this, Philip was the Location Head of Standard Chartered GBS Technology and Innovation (T&I) in Malaysia, and held various technology management and delivery roles in British American Tobacco and Accenture. Philip holds a Master of Computer Science from National University of Singapore.
