Siti Nor YAZID is one of the leads in BAT’s Global Business Solutions Kuala Lumpur Hub who is leading a global team within the GBS Procurement function who manages procurement data for all 44 BAT factories.

As the Vendor Data Excellence Lead, she and her team work very closely with multiple functions across the globe, ones that are part of the manufacturing and operations. Her main liaisons are Procurement, Supply Network, New Product Innovation and Accounting Services teams. Graduated from University of Malaya, she started her technical career with a shared service organisation in Information Technology and advanced her move to managing regional transformation projects for several years.

Her exposure to Data Management started in 2015, where that journey has brought here into this field today. With 17 years of shared services experience, exposure to several industries such as IT, Banking, FMCG and GBS, she carries a substantial amount of knowledge on how things work!

A people person, she believes that when you genuinely respect your people, the return is satisfactory and beyond as they are your work family. Loves to cook and host a makan-makan. The scent of freshly brewed coffee wakes her up and helps her sleep too! Her best tasted coffee so far was during watching sunrise, by the street, When in Rome.
