Sharmini has been the Managing Director of Lufthansa Services Philippines (LSP) since 2016 when the company was newly incorporated. LSP provides services to Lufthansa Group in the area of customer services and finance and accounting with the expectation to meet the high quality standards of the German aviation industry. Sharmini joined Lufthansa knowing that she will lead the setup of the center in Manila whilst working with her peers in the other centers to create a Global hub for Lufthansa Group Business Services. She believes in people and team work and has focused on building a strong leadership team and a nice working environment for Lufthansa employees.
Sharmini started her career in KPMG, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1996, as an Accountant & Auditor and moved to SS&C Technologies, Connecticut, USA, as a Business Consultant in 1999.
She moved to Hewlett Packard (HP) Singapore in 2001, playing the role of Program Manager for HPs Global Business Services (GBS) where she supported the new center setups and migrations in Europe and Asia. She relocated to HP Chennai, India in 2014 as an Operations Manager and left HP after 13 years to take up a new challenge in the BPO industry. She joined Capgemini, Bangalore, India in 2014.
