Thomas is a GBS/SSC expert with 15+ years experience in the industry. He is focused on finance transformation from decentralized unstructured in-house finance function over heavy harmonization and standardization programmes to fully integrated central GBS functions enabling the business partner role; providing efficient, effective and innovative finance solutions. Thomas started his career as a professional accountant in multiple local finance functions and found his way through SSC and GBS organisations like Helly Hansen, Brightpoint, Ingram Micro and now Cargotec where he is leading the company’s Global CBS Finance organisation with captive centres in Bulgaria, US, Poland, Singapore and at the same time supervising the collaboration with outsourcing partners for transactional-based activities.
