Vice President Record2Report OMV

With 1st January 2023 Barbara joined the newly founded GBS organization of OMV Group as Vice President Record2Report. In here role she is responsible for the entity close and/or transactional accounting services like asset accounting, stock accounting, general ledger & cost accounting for approx. 100 group entities with a team of 220 FTE located in Vienna and Bucharest. Before joining the finance operations of OMV Barbara was part of the OMV tax team in different expert and leadership positions for 10 years and working as a certified tax advisor for Deloitte Austria and TPA Horwath Austria for 7 years. Barbara is a strong promoter of digitalization and new technologies in her areas of responsibility that led the OMV tax compliance team in to a new area of digital tax operations and fuels the innovative spirit in Barbara’s Record2Report excellence department for further acceleration of OMVs digital accounting processes. She is passionate about supporting women in their careers in finance and is co-founding member of the initiative “Women in Tax Austria” where she connects and promotes women in the professional area of accounting and tax.
