Helmut is a senior Partner in the Consulting practice in Zurich, Switzerland. He recently took over the role as the global operational efficiency leader for Life Science at EY, and leads the Digital Finance and Digital GBS solutions in Switzerland; Before that Helmut led the invoice to pay EMEIA hyper-automation COE for EY and the sourcing / deal consulting team in EY’s GSA area - Germany, Switzerland and Austria. His focus over the last years was on leveraging AI to hyper-automate GBS organizations with a special focus on the Finance function. From the transformation of Global Business Services (process optimization, target operating model design, GPO organization) and back-office operations to generating insights with the proper data strategy and technology, ensuring operational excellence and innovation at every level. He has over 16 years of versatile experience transforming EY’s global clients.
