Head of Global Business Services (GBS) Agfa

Marcel is Dutch and has a long career in finance and accounting. Marcel joined Etex in 1998. At this international building materials company, he held several functions in Finance and Shared Services. In 2017, Marcel became the Head of Etex’ s Global Shared Services Organization, which provides finance, payroll and procurement services, with a focus on enhancing the quality, customer satisfaction and employee engagement. In March 1, 2021, Marcel joined Agfa as Head of the Global Financial Services organization (GFS). Since August 2023, Marcel was appointed as Head of Global Business Services (GBS) The GBS organization clustered the activities of Global Financial Services, Customer Operations and GBS Data, Technology & Automation. The objective of GBS is to organize Agfa’s processes from an end-to-end perspective, focusing on standardization, single technology platforms & automation, scalability, and coherence across the organization
