4:00 PM Panel Discussion: Designing, Launching, and Implementing GBS with an End-to-End Ambition - Experiences and Lessons Learned

Launching a full end-to-end Global Business Services (GBS) model is a mega project that requires a huge amount of work and involves inherent risks. Getting it right from the beginning is crucial. This session brings together leaders who have recently been on that journey to share their experiences and lessons learned:

·       Concept & Governance: finding the right end -to-end concept and implement governance in (existing) target operating model

·       Designing for the right set up: analysing business processes and designing the end-to-end approach with the full business context in mind

·       Preparing for the change: has your end-to-end concept landed with your business?

·       Managing the change: addressing the key question of “why” and managing the impact pragmatically

·       Approaching the implementation: what comes first, and what are the key goals and objectives at different phases?

·       Recap: is the activity split still in line with end-to-end concept, was everything transferred group wide?
