When Nellie joined the Real Estate and Workplace team at Stripe, she found a way to reconcile her talent for building diverse and engaged communities with her business and engineering background. She brought to Stripe a strong and diverse background acquired through her experience in a variety of key positions and working with organizations of all sizes in the UK, Germany, France, China, Israel, Brazil and the United States after completion of her Master’s degree in 2011. She had also been an active member and advocate of various non-profit organizations since 2008. Nellie joined Stripe in San Francisco in 2017 and was involved in all facets of office design and construction, project finance, real estate, leasing & transaction, facilities management, space planning, sustainability, flex office strategy, workplace strategy, and workplace technology. During Stripe’s hyper-growth phase, Nellie worked on more than 10 different projects and programs around the globe. She quickly thrived by building beautiful, intentional, functional, and healthy workplaces for employees to be their best selves and do their best work. She also led workshops on mindfulness, meditation, work-life balance, and women's health as part of her leader role in inclusion and diversity efforts at Stripe. In 2019, Nellie started offering her advice and expertise to companies and early-stage startups on workplace strategy, technology implementation, flex space strategy, and employee experience. Since the beginning of COVID, Nellie’s focus has been on re-building the workplace, coworking, and corporate real estate industry. She co-founded Workplaced to support real estate and workplace leaders in their job search and help companies adapt to the future of work and remote workforce.
