John currently serves as the Senior Director of Shared Services at World Vision International, a Christian non-profit helping poor children in nearly 100 countries. 

Established in Costa Rica in 2014, the SS team has grown to over 150 people with additional primary offices in the Philippines and Ghana.  He began his career training in Naval ROTC at the University of Kansas and spent the next 12 years serving as a Surface Warfare Officer on active & reserve duty.  After completing an MBA at UC Irvine, he joined Beckman Coulter where he managed multiple teams in finance and IT for over 8 years.  He then led finance transformation at Experian for 4 years, before being called to join WVI.  He is a CMA, CFM, and lean six-sigma black belt.

In his free time, John manages his own small business that provides parking & transportation services to veterans; eats, drinks, and plays with his wife & three daughters; and watches every second of Kansas men's basketball.
