Vice President of Finance Transformation & GBS Excellence OMV

Christian Micheler is the Vice President of Finance Transformation & GBS Excellence for OMV AG. Christian is responsible for driving the group wide Finance Transformation focusing on Capabilities/Tools/Processes and the group wide GBS Excellence focusing on GBS Service management, Finance Transformation Projects & Automation, SAP Finance Governance & Integration, Global Masterdata Management and Facility Management. Christian has 19 years of (international) management and leadership experience in Shared Service Center / GBS / Finance environment. During his 22 years he had (in addition) several Program- & Project management roles (ex. S4HANA, Automation Tool Implementations, Reorganizations, Transitions) and (global) Process-Management roles for P2P, O2C, R2R and Masterdata. He is right now based in Vienna with his wife and their 2 daughters. Christian graduated from the University of Innsbruck, Austria, with Master’s in business administration and business education. Furthermore he completed Leadership trainings from IMD Lausanne and Ashridge Business School.
