n this role, he is responsible for business transformation and accelerating the shared services strategy across the organization to drive high-quality, cost-effective service in support of the Cardinal Health mission. He leads a global team focused on improving the customer and employee experience and creating seamless, consistent touchpoints by leveraging automated technology, analytics and other digital tools.

During his 8 years at Cardinal Health, Abeyratne has been instrumental in the growing the company’s footprint and scope of operations across the globe. He successfully launched and expanded Cardinal Health International India (CHII) and Cardinal Health International Philippines (CHIP) to build a globally connected network of service delivery locations that empowers the organization to address the growing needs of its customers with speed and efficiency.

Abeyratne has 20+ years of global experience in leading customer experience, shared services, IT, digital strategy and business transformation at companies in the telecommunications and financial sectors, including Telstra and iSelect headquartered in Australia. He held roles with increasing responsibility and focused on achieving sales and revenue targets to realize business growth, while improving the overall customer experience.

Abeyratne earned a bachelor’s degree in information technology from Swinburne University.
