SSON's Shared Services & Outsourcing Impact Awards is a globally recognised, annual industry awards ceremony, which honours and celebrates SSC and service delivery teams who have exceeded industry standards in their SS&O initiatives. Honoring the Shared Services Leader of the Year whose visionary leadership drives team success, fosters innovation, and sparks transformative changes within shared services.

AUTOMATION and AI IMPACT AWARD

Focused on the strategic automation and AI methodology that is being used, benefits, and hard improvements that the automation have brought to a shared services organisation.

CUSTOMER CENTRICITY IMPACT AWARD

Focused on the strategy, methodology, benefits, and hard improvements a shared services organisation have made to improve the focus on the customer.

CHANGE MANAGEMENT IMPACT AWARD

Focused on the strategy, employee engagement techniques, benefits, and hard improvements that a shared services organisation have made to navigate through change.

PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & VALUE CREATION IMPACT AWARD

Focused on the strategy and benefits/hard improvements in process improvement and value creation that have been made by a shared services organisation

CREATIVE TALENT MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT AWARD

Focused on the strategy, skill sets, improvement methodology, the rise of digital talent, and hard improvements that a shared services organisation have made to talent management.

KEY DATES

• Award Applications Open: Thursday, 30 November 2023
• Award Applications Due: Friday, 1st March 2024
• Awards Ceremony and Celebration: Wednesday, 15th May 2024
  

All applications are judged by leading practitioners who have been selected for their experience across multiple industries and are exemplary members of the services delivery community.

Winners are selected through unanimous agreement between the judges – and since SSON and its vendor partners have no influence on decisions, winning an award is a genuine honour and nod to the team’s hard work.

Winners will be revealed at the Awards Ceremony & Celebration at the SSOW event on Wednesday, 15th May 2024!

WHO CAN ENTER?

• The SSOW Australasia Impact Awards is open to all Shared Services initiatives, campaigns or programs in the Australasia region.
• Organisations must have an office in the eligible region (Australasia) and the submission must be based on work carried out in the region
• Organisations may submit in multiple categories but will be limited to 1 entry per category.
• Vendors submitting on behalf of clients must name the clients and provide a contact from the client organization, otherwise the submission is ineligible
  
  

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE WIN?

Aside from the honour (and bragging rights!), all Awards Winners receive:

• Prestigious Crystal Award
• Published coverage on www.ssonetwork.com as well as other press distribution sites
• Featured articles and interviews by Barbara Hodge, SSON Editor; and potentially additional publications
• Social media coverage and inclusions through Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn
• Sit on a panel session at SSOW Australasia to discuss your award-winning programme with other winners
