Azlan Sani Md Morshid is the Head of Business Strategy & Innovation at TNB Global Business Solutions (TNB GBS), Malaysia. Based in Platinum Bangsar and reporting directly to TNB leadership management, he oversees overall strategic management while TNB GBS headquarters operates from Glenmarie Subang. Established in 2019, TNB GBS succesfully centralised and streamlined support functions for Malaysia’s national electricity utility. It integrates transactional shared services with operational solutions to improve delivery speed, resolve challenges, and humanize employee engagement. With over 22 years of experience in TNB, Azlan plays a key role in shaping TNB GBS into a preferred shared services and value creation partner. He focuses on cost competitiveness, business process improvement through digitalisation - automation - technology - outsourcing (DATO), enhancing service level experiences, and elevating governance. Previously, Azlan led fleet strategy and transformation initiatives, including value-unlocking programs for Corporate Functions and the development of Electric Vehicle (EV) strategies. He also was the lead division business planner facilitating strategic tools formulation & championing regulatory industrial compliance and the lead controller of asset maintenance overseeing finance, procurement & business administration, for tansmission division.
