David is currently Regional Head of Accounting Services for Asia-Pacific and the Middle East at British American Tobacco.

David’s career spans over 19 years, working in the U.K., Japan, Romania and Malaysia holding a variety of senior finance leadership roles.

David’s experience spans across various areas of finance including Corporate Finance; Commercial Finance; Global Process Ownership; project management and service delivery roles for BAT’s captive GBS centres.

David’s role in BAT is to provide leadership and support the accelerated evolution of the GBS model in line with BAT’s strategy and strengthen and consolidate the GBS organisation to provide quality, productivity, agility and innovation to business services.

Prior to Joining BAT, David worked for Deloitte within the assurance sector.

David is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
