Deshant is the Managing Director for PepsiCo’s GBS in India (Hyderabad Business Services - HBS). He is responsible for defining and executing the strategic roadmap for PepsiCo HBS and building the organization brand and reputation in the market.

HBS is currently 2700+ employees strong & is one of Top 20 most admired SSONs & GBS globally. Deshant brings in 23+ years of experience across diverse industries, including food & beverages, financial services, technology, and manufacturing.

Prior to joining PepsiCo, he has worked with several multinational companies like American Express, GE-Genpact, HCL etc. He led global teams through disruptive challenging transitions by devising strategic solutions. He has proven expertise to drive strategic initiatives across global capabilities, transformation, and service delivery. During his career, Deshant has set-up and scaled multiple centers for American Express, Wachovia/ Wells Fargo, and SABMiller across geographies.

Deshant graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Ranchi and has an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi.
