Dr. Patricia Francis is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in audit, finance, accounting, and consulting. She is a recognized leader in Global Business Services (GBS), having been an advocate for SSON Asia since 2019 and serving on the SSON Impact Award Panel of Judges.

Currently, she is the Head of Business Operations APAC at EDP, overseeing organizational setup, talent strategy, and operations delivery. Previously, she led Strategy and Learning & Development for Financial Markets Operations Strategy at Standard Chartered GBS, driving business transformation and talent development globally.

Dr. Francis excels in strategic leadership, operational excellence, process improvement, and technology enablement, earning numerous awards. She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration and is a Fellow Member of ACCA UK. As Deputy Chair of ACCA Malaysia Advisory Committee, she established the ACCA Tech and Digital Taskforce to prepare accountants for the evolving digital landscape.

A lifelong learner, she has recently obtained coaching accreditation, aiming to mentor future leaders. Beyond work, she is actively involved in church and community services, guided by her belief in "giving while living." Her dedication to the accounting profession and leadership development continues to make a lasting impact.
