Aarthi Gopal is the Head of GBS HR North America for Norsk Hydro, a leading industrial company committed to a sustainable future. It is one of the largest aluminium companies worldwide and has operations in over 50 countries around the world. In her role, Aarthi is responsible for delivering GBS HR Services for North America locations in US & Canada. She holds a master's degree in Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University, an Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh, and a certification from Harvard University’s Business Analytics Program. Before joining Hydro, Aarthi has gained extensive experience in global HR Systems & Operations, through various roles in Alcoa, BNY Mellon and Allegheny Technologies Incorporated. Aarthi views herself as a global citizen with a passion to share her experiences with others and help them grow both personally and professionally. In her spare time, Aarthi is an avid jigsaw puzzle-ologist, enjoys doing arts and crafts, and spending quality time with her two beautiful kids and her best friend (her mom).
