Sr. Director Shared Accounting Services, Diocesan Shared Accounting Services (DSAS) Diocese of Orlando

Debbie Lougheed directs Shared Accounting Services for the Diocese of Orlando, known as the Diocesan Shared Accounting Services (DSAS) program. She is responsible for the creation and continued growth of the program to support the accurate standardization of accounting information across the Diocese of Orlando. This includes the leadership of people, process, and technology internal to the program, and the management of projects to facilitate informal communication and formal updates to external stakeholders. Additionally, her role includes ensuring the DSAS infrastructure is a robust, streamlined, and agile organization available to support the future financial goals of the Diocese of Orlando. Before joining the Diocese of Orlando in 2015, Debbie was the Head of Global Financial Services - The Americas for Hotelbeds (Tui Travel). There, she was part of the startup of the shared services initiative and successfully led the development of the internal program to support the onboarding of the USA, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Columbia, and Mexico companies. Debbie has held various Supervisory and Management positions throughout her 32-year career. These positions included serving as Senior Accountant and Assistant Manager for a hotel company and as Senior Finance Manager supporting both small- and large-scale companies. She is known for leading high-functioning teams that deliver results. Debbie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Central Florida.
