Nigel has very recently left Takeda where he led the European division of their Multi Towered Global Business Services program following their acquisitions of Shire and Baxalta. Prior to that he was with PepsiCo for 3.5 years where he lead their breakout European Shared Service initiative in which he successfully transitioned over 500 roles across Europe and Russia to an international, outsource provider in a very aggressive timescale. Previously Nigel worked with Pfizer for 11 years initially as Finance Director of their Irish commercial operations and then for 6 years as Service Delivery Leader/Managing Director of their European Shared Service team. The Pfizer operation was a hybrid support model comprising captive/outsourced and nearshore/farshore teams supporting 22 countries in a full finance capacity and an additional 100+ countries from an O2C perspective. Prior to Pfizer Nigel worked as Finance Director for Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals and for Price Waterhouse. Nigel qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in 1993 and is a graduate of Trinity College Dublin.
