Many companies have AR processes that are mired in inefficiencies and are looking to relieve significant pain around wasted time, underutilized talent, and delayed cash flow.

SSON’s 2022 AR Pulse Check survey of 103 Shared Services and Outsourcing (SSO), Global Business Services (GBS), and Finance leaders reveals that 50% of the market surveyed has invested in cloud. And yet, whether they’ve invested in cloud solutions or not, it’s clear that AR teams are struggling to reduce manual administration and streamline customer contact.

Automation can ease some of these pains, and relieve the manual burdens associated with many of them. But automation alone won’t create new, better processes. It’ll simply automate the existing ones (which tend to be poor). As the Pulse Check Survey reveals: regardless of investment in cloud solutions, there’s a disconnect between customer needs and the business processes set-up to support AR. To bridge the gap, what’s needed is a platform that reduces manual processes to improve cash flow and improves customer collection. This lack of connection with customers drives manual effort and delays for accounts receivable, making the invoice-to-cash process difficult for both buyers and suppliers.

When collaboration is solved, AR practices become dramatically more efficient. As well, when the right tools are in place, AR can become a key lever in supporting business growth.

During this session, you will learn how:

  • The SSON AR Pulse Check Survey reveals the importance of customer experience in accounts receivable
  • Collaborative AR leverages the type of customer-focused digitization and automation sought by enterprises
  • Collaborative AR allows you to work in lockstep with your customers in real-time over the cloud to drive massive improvements to AR efficiency
  • Your AR team can process digital payments while encouraging your customers to easily and securely pay online using their preferred payment methods
  • You can automate your collections efforts, build better customer relationships and put an end to ineffective activities
