When Motion LP's AP function came under new ownership in 2023, the technology was already in place. The results weren't. With a touchless capture rate of just 5% and a seven-person team manually processing nearly 90,000 invoices a year, the process worked, but it wasn't scalable. What followed wasn't a new implementation. It was a deliberate decision to use what they already had.
