Interview with Kelly Aranaz, Project Manager, UC San Diego

How do you get the most out of new recruits on day one? That was the challenge for the University of California San Diego, where, historically, it could take up to three weeks for a new recruit to become productive. To change that, UCSD has leveraged two existing technologies to kick that traditional process to the curb.

A combination of digital e-signature and automated workflow replaces up to 60 forms that were previously filled out manually, so that new recruits can, literally, hit the ground running.
