Jeff Linnell is the founder and CEO of Formant, a cloud robotics platform for businesses. As a serial entrepreneur, Linnell has founded multiple companies spanning the domains of web technologies, 3D animation, post-production, and augmented reality. Before founding Formant, Linnell served as Head of Robotics at Google X.

He previously founded Autofuss, a design/production company, and Bot & Dolly, an engineering studio specializing in automation, robotics, and film. The latter was recognized with a technical achievement Oscar for its novel robotics application on the film Gravity, and its groundbreaking short, ‘Box’. Both Autofuss and Bot and Dolly were acquired by Google in 2013.

Kate Kidd
Vice President of Product
SoftBank Robotics America

Kate Kidd is the Vice President of Product at SoftBank Robotics, where she drives innovation across both digital and physical product portfolios. She began her career in finance before transitioning into the real estate software industry as Head of Product at Rentlytics. There she successfully drove product growth to guide the company to a profitable exit.

Kate joined SoftBank Robotics America in 2019, taking on the role of leading the go-to-market strategy for the launch of the company’s first collaborative, commercially focused robot, Whiz. Now, as the Head of Product, she has profitably launched five robotic solutions and a data platform, with more to come.

Kate holds a bachelor’s degree from Stanford University, where she studied business and product. Kate is passionate about pioneering automation and bringing transformative solutions to the market.
