Deborah says that you cannot create if you’re focused on cost. On cost, she notes, that there are two types of CFOs: control CFOs and growth CFOs – and a smart shared services executive always looks to report to a growth CFO, as Shared Service is about growth, not cost.
Leveraging the concept of liberation theology, Deborah sees automation as liberation technology.
