ENCROACHING SERVICES SCOPE

As many organizations are "righting" themselves, having weathered a story two years, we’re seeing some trends emerging in services delivery. First, as we’ve frequently discussed over the past year - a serious self-assessment regarding the maximum potential of the services delivery model, increasingly tending towards captive Centers of  Excellence and outsourced transactional environments. Second, we’re starting to see scope-creep. Legal Process Outsourcing has been drifting at the tail end of Board agendas for a while now. But with two significant deals inked over the past months - Microsoft’s LPO and law firm Cameron McKenna’s BPO (not including legal processes at this stage), we may be seeing the beginnings of a tidal wave in legal processes moving out of house - specifically contract review and document review. Integreon is carving itself a niche here. Check the case studies linked in this e-news, and search our archives online for more.
