Sanjay Patel
Sanjay is SVP & Global Head of Innovation Capability Solutions at Takeda.
He previously ran Takeda Business Solutions (TBS) and is based in Zürich, Switzerland. His career spans over 29 years across the globe, having worked in New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Ireland and the US.
Previously, Sanjay was with British American Tobacco [BAT] as head of Global Business Services for finance, HR, data and analytics, service management, automation center of excellence, P2P, global process ownership, quality assurance, and GBS strategy.
Prior to joining BAT in April 2017, Sanjay spent three years with Rio Tinto, a global mining and mineral company in their GBS organization; and 22 years with Merck and Company Inc. in various leadership roles in GBS, finance, audit, logistics, marketing, compliance, IT and operations.
Sanjay is a Fellow of the Australian Society of certified accountants and a fellow of the chartered accountants Australia and New Zealand.
