Alsbridge Appoints Augustin and Seabloom to Lead Growing Outsourcing Advisory and IT Asset Management Practice Areas

(Dallas, Texas) April 1, 2014 – Alsbridge Inc., a benchmarking, sourcing and transformation advisory firm has appointed Managing Directors Jeff Augustin and Jeff Seabloom to lead the firm’s rapidly growing Outsourcing Advisory and IT Asset Management and Optimization practices areas, respectively.

Augustin, who joined Alsbridge in October 2012, has almost 30 years of experience in the sourcing industry, including five years as the CIO for professional service firms and 23 years providing IT outsourcing services to global fortune 500 companies. Augustin’s key areas of expertise include development and management of large technology services relationships, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), governance and change management, shared service design and operation, and strategy and implementation with BPO and ITO, as well as sales and marketing management and business problem solving. Prior to joining Alsbridge, Augustin was Vice President of Retail services for HCL Technologies, Vice President of HP’s retail industry group, CIO for Capgemini North America, and Managing Director and CIO for Affiliated Computer Services’ Global General Motors Business Unit. He also spent 1998-2004 with Ernst & Young, where he was responsible for outsourcing operations and business development. Augustin began his career in 1984 with EDS where he led global accounts in the manufacturing and transportation industry groups.

Joining Alsbridge in October 2012, Seabloom has 35 years of executive experience as an entrepreneur and advisor focused exclusively in the Enterprise Software and hardware business across various vertical industries. Jeff’s main areas of expertise include building and launching commercial markets and high visibility alliances for innovative products and technologies. He is an expert in ERP systems, supply chain applications and applied technologies. His experience includes profitably scaling application, and technology software, hardware and services in manufacturing, distribution and specific vertical markets such as retail and consumer packaged goods and healthcare. Seabloom was a pioneer in the rollout of supply chain /ERP integration. He was an early adopter and proponent of optimization and analytics integration with ERP Applications and Technology and their usage in enterprise environments. Prior to joining Alsbridge, Seabloom served as a Partner at Pathena, an investment firm headquartered in Portugal where he remains an extended board member. Seabloom has held numerous executive positions including head of HP’s Global Retail Accounts team in the U.S. and Vice President of Sales, Alliances and Sales Support for Oracle in many of their market facing organizations. Most recently at Oracle, Seabloom was part of the management team that acquired Retek and helped create the companies’ first global vertical business unit. He also drove increased partner-lead service engagements with several large system integrators and regional Oracle partners in both Europe and Asia-Pacific.
