May 21, 2014 Wipro wins $175 million deal from US-based Corning Wipro has won a $175 million (Rs 1,050 crore) IT outsourcing deal from US-based glass and ceramics manufacturer Corning Incorporated. The third-largest IT services company pipped IBM, HP, HCL Technologies and Tech Mahindra to bag a five-year infrastructure management services (IMS) contract, said sources familiar with the development.
