Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) recently confirmed they will lead a panel session on the new mandates and propositions for Business Process Services (BPS) in the era of digital enterprise during the 14th Annual Shared Services & Outsourcing Week in Dublin this May. (www.ssoweek.com)
The session comes at a time when across the world, business leaders in every industry have been making significant investments in transforming their organisations into a digital enterprise. Whilst there has been a consensus on harnessing technology trends, organisations have often limited themselves to using this technology to meet just the efficiency objectives. So which digital platform can BPS centres use to drive organisation growth and agility objectives?
Senior panellists from enterprise organisations to be announced will join TCS on stage to address this question, and to discuss how leveraging platforms on social, cloud, analytics and mobile can help meet strategic business objectives and ultimately - improve customer experience.
The session, entitled ‘Era of Digital Enterprise,’ will take place at 9:30am on 14th May 2014, following a keynote from Ken Segall, fmr Creative Director for Apple.
TCS, an IT Services, Consulting and Business Solutions organization Indian multinational company, is one the lead sponsors for the 4-day event, which promotes information-sharing and networking between SS&O professionals from different functions, regions, verticals and maturity. The conference is hosted by the Shared Services & Outsourcing Network (SSON), who forecast 500+ enterprise shared services and GBS, analyst and industry leaders in attendance.
Although the TCS panel session focusses more on BPS centres, the programme caters to the entire shared services and outsourcing community, tackling topics including the rise of GBS, new stage of mobility, late payment directive (implemented in March 2013), high adoption of cloud services by SMEs and the automatic pension enrolment legislation due Q2 this year.
Speakers confirmed to date include Global Heads, SVPs, VPs and Directors from companies including BAE Systems, easyJet, Glasgow City Council, Marks & Spencer, Shell, BT, Diageo amongst others. In addition, the show includes 4 Site Visits to Oakley, Ingersoll-Rand, Microsoft and Pfizer on 12th and 15th May 2014 for a limited number of attendees.
