Genpact buys Empower Research for an undisclosed amount (c $20m)

BPO firm Genpact, is adding muscle to its analytics unit (Smart Decision Services) with its decision to acquire Empower Research, a media and business research company. The deal is likely to be concluded by the end of this month. Analysts believe the tuck-in acquisition implies about $10-20 million of revenue (around one per cent of total Genpact revenue). Industry trackers also said that given Empower’s high single digit revenue in 2010 and high growth rates, the deal could be valued...
