Intertek, the testing laboratories group for products from textiles to chemicals, has signed a contract to outsource its global IT and finance and accounting services to Accenture.
The aim of the contract is to enable Intertek to integrate and standardise its finance and technology functions after a period of significant growth and acquisition activity. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
