Lincolnshire Police Authority downselects to two in £200m outsourcing contract

Lincolnshire police authority has announced that security company G4S and a partnership between Steria and Reliance Security Group will compete for a £200m, 10 year outsourcing contract. The deal will cover a range of services – including IT, networks, back office and command and control – and is said to be the largest offered by a UK police authority. The authority said that 10 others have already shown an interest in taking up the contract, which could push its total value...
