An REL Consulting news flash was sent out by the Hackett Group yesterday, warning us that U.S. Postal Services’ changes regarding first class overnight delivery could slow collections and cost large companies up to $100 million annually. The release warned that it will become significantly harder for companies to collect from customers quickly with next day delivery eliminated (About 40% of mail is currently delivered next day).
