The Shared Services & Outsourcing Network (SSON) has partnered with ScottMadden for the 19th Annual North American Shared Services & Outsourcing Week, to help practitioner organizations within the Planning & Launching stage of their SSC. (

This partnership comes at an opportune time: according to a 2014 survey, 30% of 800+ shared services, finance, procurement and HR executives told SSON that their SSC is in the Planning & Launching stage, with another 11% stated that they were in the Pre-Launch stage.

This will be the 19th year in which ScottMadden has partnered with SSON’s flagship North American series of events. Both arepioneers in shared services since the practice began decades ago, with ScottMadden now our principle lead sponsor. This year, ScottMadden’s own Brad DeMent will be the chairperson throughout the events four days, with Scott Manning being a member of SSON’s advisory board.

ScottMadden will also host two workshops, on the Fundamentals of Shared Services Implementation, and the Next Generation of Shared Services Operations.

The Shared Services & Outsourcing Week is a networking and benchmarking platform for SS&O practitioners, analyst firms and industry leaders, catering to executives from different functions (HR, Finance, Accounting, Procurement and Multi-Function), cross-industry (including Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Hospitality and Banking/Finance) and SSC maturities (Planning & Launching to GBS).
