Staying Sustainable: 3 Ways GBS Can Continually Reaffirm Its Value

There is little doubt that the Global Business Services (GBS) Model is on the rise globally. According to SSON Research & Analytics, as of February 2023, 62% of shared services models are committed to GBS, whether transitioning, already adopted (mature and scaling up), or moving towards a digitized model. In Europe, the same holds true with nearly … of organizations having embraced the GBS model. As the model continues to grow, GBS will have to continue reaffirming its value to the organization by taking on greater responsibilities.

The following will analyze the three ways GBS can continue its growth by reaffirming its value to its business. The first is digital transformation. We will look at how advances in intelligent automation have created the perfect opportunity for GBS to drive upgrades in AI, data analytics, and hyperautomation.
