Case Study: Rolling Out "Lean" Across Global Finance Services

Add bookmark

Schneider Electric is a global enterprise whose success depends on the support of five global finance centers. Like many manufacturing organizations, it has seen the effects of improvement methodologies on the factory floor. The concept of eliminating waste in all its forms by engaging employees to focus on customers' needs is part of the enterprise DNA.

In 2014, the Finance Shared Services center in Poland implemented a highly successful "Leanergy" methodology, which is now being rolled out across the world, center by center, starting with China.
