May 23, 2013, Prague, Czech Republic –The Shared Services & Outsourcing Network (SSON), the largest and most established community of shared services and outsourcing professionals, announced the winners of its prestigious annual Excellence Awards for the European region, last night in Prague.

These awards highlight and validate best practices within services delivery in the categories of: people and communication, value creation, improvement and innovation, culture, and customer service. An additional award for "Thought Leader" is given to an individual who has made the greatest impact on this industry, as judged by his or her peers, and is thereby publicly recognized.

SSON's annual Shared Services Excellence Awards honour, recognise and promote both captive and outsourced shared services that demonstrate winning practices. These awards form the industry benchmark for their given competencies, in terms of best practice and excellence achieved. Over 500 professionals from the European shared services and outsourcing industry attended the ceremony last night at the conference centre in the Czech Rebublic’s capital, to celebrate this year’s leading shared services organisations.
