According to data collected in SSON’s State of the Shared Services and Outsourcing Industry Survey Q4 2024, the shared services industry is incredibly developed in Asia. For example, the vast majority of Asia-based respondents described their organization as multifunctional and multi-country (60.75%). In contrast, less than 4% labelled their organization as single country and single function. This situates the majority of Asian shared service organizations (SSO) and Global Business Services (GBS) as very influential within the industry, as they have a generally large outreach.

Readers of this report will receive unique insights into Asia's shared services landscape, including:

  • Geographical trends surrounding shared service centers.
  • Trends in employee acquisition, retention, and change management.
  • Trends in customer experience.
  • Digital transformation initiatives.
  • Implementation of Generative AI and automation efforts.

For more insights, SSOW Asia takes place this October, in One Farrer, Singapore. With over 100 senior-level practitioners and 30 expert speakers, the event focuses on solidifying Asia’s competitive advantage in the global shared services map. Secure your place today!
