I always look for new possibilities as that ensures we keep thinking out of the box ad it also ensures a higher level of passion in what we do, as new possibilities bring with them a sense of optimism. What has been your greatest achievement? Kind of difficult but I would say a great achievement for me is defined by making a difference in growing talent, and seeing this talent develop and achieve. I love the "Eureka" factor from helping our staff discover their potential along the way, through coaching and nurturing. What is your greatest regret? Not having done more and travelled and seen more places so far. If you could do it all over again, what would you do differently? I would pursue my dream of being in the Foreign Service – having completed a degree in International Relations, I was planned to go into the Foreign Service, however the year I came back from graduation was not a good year for an International Relations! I landed in HR by accident and have no regrets so far, but…yes if I had the time over I would probably pursue my dream of being in the Foreign Service! What looks like the biggest potential for you right now? To creatively grow AAX from a people’s perspective and bring the talent management to a different level through our ambitious expansion plan. To ensure that we have a distinct identity for our tech and cabin crew to the point that just the way they "walk and talk" will already tell you about our brand. In 10 years time - how do you see your current operation being run? Structured yet fluid enough to be agile to the constant market change Sexy and fun as we are today Individuals who have been rotated around the different roles resulting in more in-depth, all-round talent Super great customer service so that people would fly with us even if we increase the price – simply because of the magical experience of flying with us Which management books do you read? All kinds from motivation to serious – from the monk who sold his Ferrari to john Kotter’s change leadership What car do you drive and what should you be driving? If I had the money I would get a 2-door sports car – the Alfa Romeo Spider – blazing red! What's your favorite 10 minute dish that you cook yourself?
