Alessandro de Luca is the Group Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Head of Digital Enterprise Solutions (DES) at Merck Group, a leading global science and technology company headquartered in Darmstadt, Germany. He drives the company's digital transformation by integrating data, technology, and processes across a workforce of approximately 7,000 employees. With over a decade at Merck, Alessandro has previously led technology initiatives as CIO of the Healthcare business and managed global supply chain operations. His extensive experience includes two decades at Procter & Gamble, where he developed his expertise in leading complex transformations. Recognized for his impactful leadership, he has received numerous awards, including the “Top 200 World CIO Awards” (CIO Forum), the “10 Most Impactful Healthcare Leaders” (CIO view magazine), and "Most Influential Supply Chain Executive in Europe" (SCM magazine).
